AIM to hold 6 night Ramadhan Programme in London

In His name the most High,

Ahlulbayt Islamic Mission (AIM) will be holding a 6 night programme to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali (as) and to facilitate the A’maal of Laylat Al-Qadr for the followers of both leading Maraja’ Ayatollah Khamenei and Ayatollah Sistani. We are delighted to confirm that Shaykh Usama Abdulghani will be delivering lectures every night from Tuesday 13th until Sunday 18th June 2017, the programme will commence at 10:30pm each night and end with Suhoor. The programme will be held at Kanoon Towhid, 30-32 Southerton Road, London, W6 0PH

As you can imagine, there are running costs for having these programmes and we need your help to make it happen! Our main costs go towards serving suhoor for worshippers during the holy month, hiring the premises, audio-visual and other logistical and maintenance costs.

This is the programme to remember Imam Ali (as) who sacrificed everything to further the objectives of Islam, and a programme for worshippers to revive the nights in prayer and supplication during the most holy of nights in the year. We ask you to help with what little you can to further these objectives and make them more accessible to the English speaking audiences.

We need your help!

Our approximate breakdown of costs are as follows:

  • Suhoor for 6 nights is £1500
  • Hall hire and venue maintenance is £1000
  • Audio-visual costs are £500
  • Travel, accommodation, security, cleaners and other miscellaneous costs are £2000

That gives us a grand total of £5000. So far we have raised £2499 and need 50% more  in order to meet our target.
