SHAFAQNA (Shia International News Association) – Amnesty International criticised behaviour of Egyptian authorities towards Syrian refugees and announced that they are being expelled from that country. Amnesty International reported that hundreds of Syrians and Palestinians refugees have been arrested illegally by Egypt. It also reported that hundreds of the refugees have been sent to other countries in the region. Sharif Al-Seyyed Ali a member of Amnesty International in charge of refugees announced that Egypt has failed in its responsibilities towards refugees and instead of supporting them they are being arrested and thrown out of the country. More than 100000 refugees had arrived in Egypt riding on boats with most of them wishing to travel towards Europe. Amnesty International said so far 946 refugees many of them women and children have been arrested by Egypt.
